How To Make Rice Pudding"Steps and Recipe Below"
I learned how to make rice pudding from my grandma's cookbook. She would make it for my breakfast when I was little. Yeah, I know a little decadent for a breakfast. But what grandma would deny their grandchild a little sugar? The recipe is below. This recipe comes from back-in-the-day when people weren't afraid of whole milk, butter and egg yolks. You just need a stove, about 30-40 minutes of time, plus the ingredients in the recipe. You of course can swap out any of those fatty ingredients for the weaker less flavored watered down low fat stuff. You may have to add cornstarch to thicken though. And I really doubt you will want it on the top later. It's pretty "creamy" tasting without it. When can I add raisins?Right at the end. Soak you raisins in hot water while you are cooking the rice pudding. Drain right before serving and add them before you put them in the bowls.
Want to know how to make rice pudding with instant rice?Good, me too! I don't think it would be that tasty. I'm not a fan of instant rice.
